(^fyi that's my new work uniform from Monsoon/Accessorize I'm wearing!)
(I do feel a bit like I should be a part of the Great Gatsby now, I have to confess)
Britney once sang 'Oops I did it again' and a few years down the line removed a majority of her hair, and I have also, done it again and removed a majority of my hair. It was last January that I cut my hair to around this length (about an inch longer actually), but considering my hair actually grows at an abnormal rate of an inch every six weeks (I measured my roots), I thought it was about time to make that massive cut again.I've never feared cutting my hair off, and in total I've done it 4 times in my 16 years on earth, which is exactly once every four years, so I guess you could say I've got a good little cycle going on.
To my Mother's horror, I also decided to dye my hair dark violet purple with Olia oil-based hair dye, which is only on in the second picture, it turned out pretty much the colour on the box, and I know it'll wash out and become a lighter shade, because it always does for me, and pretty much every other human that uses hair dye! I usually use John Frieda foam, but it wasn't on offer as it usually is in Boots, so I decided I would opt for my 'alternative safe brand' in Olia.
In my opinion, there is nothing in the world better than just going for the chop and having a good old hair dye sesh, but at the same time I can understand how people would not want to ever want to cut off their long locks, and in fact get very protective over them. Everyone likes to take different kinds of risks in life, and I for one love taking risks with my hair, simply for the fact that I know it'll grow, and very quickly with that.
