Outfit // Dungaree Dress

I have a dungaree playsuit thingy from river island but it actually makes my legs look like tree trunks, so when I came across this dungaree dress in Topshop I thought I'd bite the bullet and get it. It was £36 and I'm going to sell my old dungarees and some other random stuff I bought on asos last summer, so I should make up for my purchase pretty quickly. I hope. 

I also got this necklace today, reduced from £16.50 to £4.50, and considering that I actually nearly bought at full price anyway before Christmas, I am pretty chuffed. I like the way that it has that classic vintage element to it with the cameo and jewels, but it has a real 'edge' (excuse cliché) to it with the massive gold chain the've suck on it. Just my cup of tea.

This is actually the first outfit I've worn in ages which actually feels like 'me'. I've been slooping (is that a word... spell checked it. no) away with work for ages and all I do is sit in jeans and some random top which makes me look like a sack of potatoes. But this outfit has sort of pulled me 'back on track' if you will. I still hardly wear any make-up these days, because, well, cba with tarting myself up most of the time. No, I'm only joking, I don't wear it mostly because I forget or feel like I should let my skin breath, but I got some snazzy benefit make-up for Christmas, so I think it's time I started to paint my face make more of an effort with my appearance again. I mean, for New Years I actually wore an all black outfit. What's life? Visually black in my case.
