Well hey there! Has it been a while, or has it been a while?! I thought I might just explain myself (but not apologise for my absence, because I hate apologising to the entire internet, it takes an awful long time). Basically, I've been rather preoccupied over the past few months. I finished off my summer holidays and then was dramatically propelled into the magnificent (ha. ha.) world of year 11... Now, because I am a complete and utter study freak and also a crazy perfectionist, my blog has just gone out of the window completely, and over the past couple of weeks, some of my friends (and some other random people) have been asking where the hell my blog has got to. Of course I told them it's still here, it's just a tad inactive as we speak. Anyway, I'll get to the point I was initially attempting to make. Around 3 weeks ago I was on extremely high stress levels, I had completely overworked myself at school and at home and didn't give myself an inch of breathing space. It was a Friday, forth lesson and I had my spanish speaking aural controlled assessment when I literally broke down in hysterical (and when I say hysterical, I mean hysterical) tears. I just froze up (lols). After being comforted by very helpful and given very useful advice from friends and teachers alike, I was 'ok' by 5o'clock (the incident having taken place at around 12.30).
'But what does this have to do with Emily blogging again?' you ask. Well, my dearest internet pals. I've realised that I need to balance my life out a tad better. I don't have to study 24/7 and ignore what I love doing because of bloody exams. Obviously during exam time I won't be able to blog, but other than that- what's stopping me? Nothing. It's time to go head-first(ish) back into blogging. Commando style.
Oh crap, I almost forgot. Here's a summary of my life since August.

ReplyDeleteI've missed your blogging! Looks like you've done some awesome things with your time though. And don't worry, once year 11 has finished it is THE best feeling in the world.
