Six things on a Tuesday #13

This week I thought I'd do something different and tell you about 6 blogs on a Tuesday instead. You should definetly consider following all of the six blogs below as they are all amazing!
1) Shope from London's Closet < Shope creates the most amazing outfits and she makes awesome shorts (which she is selling soon!) Best. Clothes. Ever.
2) Lydia from Lydia Lee < I've loved Lydia for aaaages now and she's really cute! And her hair is awesome.
3) Georgia from It would be mine < Georgia can turn anything round and make it work for her, and she finds amazing charity shop buys! Give me tips?!
4) Mia from All the toppings < Mia's outfits are cute and composed. Her hair is perfect and she talks about genuinely interesting things!
5) Emma from milkteef < Emma is the best high street blog shopper in the whole of blogosphere and she knows how to mix items that you'd never think of together. My favourite items are her cute blouses and lace dresses.
6) Rosie from A Pocket Full of Rosie < Rosie mixed big clashing prints together seriously well and has awesome ombre tips on her hair. Her style is really bold and her writing is just as fantastic!
Enjoy reading and viewing!
Oh and I got some new shorts from Topshop, I LOVE them. What do you think?

Aztec

Top- River Island; Skirt- America Apparel via. ebay; Jacket- Topshop.
(Just realised the second picture is EXACTLY the same pose as the one in the sidebar! haha what a looser)
This is the new Aztec top I got yesterday from River Island. Isn't it great? It fits in really well with the whole tribal thing going on at the moment and I love the way it sits. I was also surprised to learn that I've gone down a dress size to a 10 since my gym efforts started so I got it in a size 10. The pattern is really interesting and the colours together are so interesting, reminds me of some form of ancient trial pattern! It's also really awesome, for the whole print clashing that's bashing (haha it rhymes) around at the moment.
Some or you eager blog readers might have noticed that my fringe is back and my hair is slightly shorter. I had a hair cut see, so it's all back in place now. I was having to scrape it back because it was so long.
And look what I did to my auntie's hair! It's a waterfall braid. The trouble is, I posted it to my facebook so I'm going to be harassed by everyone to get me to do it to their hair, but I don't mind :)

Don't sit down, cos' I've moved your chair

Dress- DIY Primark; Belt- no idea sorry!
This is what I wore the other day (Sunday). Quite short but I was just roaming around the house wondering and revising. Which reminds me, no exams until November now, few! So glad. Hopefully I can match the A I got in my last R.E test with this one as well! Eek!
Also, I had my diploma induction day today, want, to, do, it, so, much. It involves load of creative things like photography (yes), writing (yes, I actually love writing) and faaaaaaaaashion :D Hopefully if I get in then I can show you guys some of the things I do! Who would be interested in that? I would be doing things like magazine covers and textiles. Is that the kind of thing you would like to see?
Big love to all my readers! I love you guys so much!
xx
p.s gym is starting to show signs of toning on my tummy, woo! healthy living for the win!

Back to Black II

Dress; Vintage.
Here is the dress in all it's glory. I'm quite surprised I can fit into it as it's a size eight (?!). Must be some kind of c-r-a-z-y sizing because I'm a 12! The back detailing is lovely and fits in with the whole tribal thing going on at the moment. I did a kind of smoky eyed look last night, like a cat, meow?
By the way I keep meaning to mention, sorry for the naff background in all my photos, my room is so untidy, but, fear not, I am getting my room done out soon and hopefully there shall be some white wall! Which is pretty awesome for outfit photos, but until then, alas this manky background is staying... Sad times...

Daisies

Top; H&M, Jeans; Topshop, Rosary necklace; Ebay, Turquoise tooth necklace; DIY
Sorry all the photos look a bit yellowy, not sure what happened. Probably another blogger screw up. Damn them!
Well, this is my outfit for today, pretty average and simple because I'm going to the gym later and I don't want to turn up looking like some kind smart freak. I recently got this rosary necklace from ebay for £3.99 and I actually love the colour of it! It goes with much more than I imagined and it really adds to a boring plain outfit. What do you think of it? I also bought 5 of these turquoise teeth from ebay and this is going to be another section of my little DIY project which I know pretty much all of you are dying to see. Excitement!
I'm half way through the essay I have to produce to see if the people who run the art and design diploma want me on the course, I am so nervous about it, but excited to... Apprehensive I guess! I've done it on Daisy by Mark Jacobs and I have to explain what the advert looks like and why I like it, here's a taster paragraph. Please tell me what you think!
"The photography style used is very unusual and has a grainy quality which means some of the richer colours have been dissipated from the photo, like that of the qualities of a Polaroid picture or disposable camera. It brings out the natural colours and brightens shadows to add to the fluttery, uncluttered ambience."
What do you think?
And speaking of daisies, here's a preview of one of the items in my up and coming give away!
Watch this it's hilarious;

Jade green surprise

Playsuit; ebay, Necklace; DIY, Belt; Don't know
Sorry guys! Blogger decided to wipe my blog post?! So irritating! I wrote loads! From now on I'm saving them as word documents as well... if you've experienced this too please do let me know! Hopefully they can recover my wiped post (?)
-EDIT-
I FOUND THE MISSING TEXT AND NOW THE OLD POST DECIDES TO COME BACK! GRR...  Oh well.. here's the old text on the new post... (Bear in mind the text below was written on Wednesday)
Oh man, I have some explaining to do don't I? After a long stream of frequent and fully filled posts I suddenly disappeared into the blue for a week and half! Sorry about that, although I do have a good reason. the useual suspects; revision, first week back at school, outings, catch-ups and looking a bit munters, but fear not! I am back on form now! And ready to get going with things again.
As you may have spotted, pretty much everything in my wardrobe is of a neutral colour or is a warm colour, so I was thinking. What about a change for once? And that's when this jade green chiffon playsuit comes into play. It was only £15 and it's of a lovely quality considering the price. It's also great because I can dress it up or down - for example - with a white blazer and loafers for formal, and with a biker jacket and boots for, well, non-formal. Perfect.
A lot of you have been asking how I made these little gemstone/crystal necklaces and I will be doing a tutorial on how to make them soon AND possibly selling them, but, the only thing is is that I have actually run out of materials to take pictures and show you, so until I've got some other bits and bobs, well, it's a waiting game I'm afraid!
One final thing, I've started the gym, I love it so much! I do a warm up on the rowing machine, 3 sets of 12 on 4 different weight machines, 3 30sec long planks, treadmill, cross-train, exercise bike, more rowing machine and then a warm down. Love. it.

Don't look back into the sun

Skirt; Topshop, T-shirt; Primark, Necklace; I made it ;D
Spent today chilling in the garden and annotating a Daisy by Marc Jacobs advert and a Mulberry S/S advert for an essay I have to do so I can get into Creative and Media Diploma in Art and Design. Don't have a clue which one to pick! They are both so easy to write about for different reasons. Can't wait to really let my creative juices flow onto paper, I'll post some of it once I've written it (I promise I'll make it interesting).
I got this skirt in the Topshop flash sale for £20 reduced from £40 and seems as though I desperately wanted it before anyway I snapped it up. I love the way it flows in the wind, it looks so elegant! I did a bit of colour blocking with it as well as you can see, check me out! Hehe!
How beautiful was the Royal Wedding? I loved Kate's (Duchess of Cambridge) dress and my Mum had a dress really similar to Pippa Middleton's on her wedding day! Didn't they both look stunning?! Oh and this Chinese woman cam up to me in town asking me whether I was Pippa Middleton, I don't look ANYTHING like her. (Or do I..?)
