We could have had it all, rolling in the deep.

(My nose looks really squished in the above picture, but it's all for the lipstick colour don't worry)
I went to London yesterday with the good old Jess and her Mum, and surprisingly didn't get too much!
I got this lipstick from Topshop that I have wanted for AGES and they don't sell lipsticks in my local Topshop so I was in heaven when I found it. It was £8 and as you can see I've only photographed the packaging at the moment and it's all for a reason. One, I'm doing one post on it in 2010 and one post in 2011 (oh how exciting!). And, two, the lighting was bad and it wasn't taking very good pictures of the lipstick colour. I am in love with the packaging, it really is delightful! I love the 'intricacy' of it and the text is really light and sweet and the box is charming as well. The 'casing' of the actually a quite heavy metal one with a satisfying click into place and it also has a nice twist function. More about the actually lip colour and stuff tomorrow.
I also got some socks! All £3.50 individually but I got the 3 for £8 deal which I am VERY proud of. Some burgundy lace ones, black swallows on a green background and some cute rocking horse socks with a blue background and pink, yellow, green and blue details on the horses backs.
The burgundy socks are more for going out in posh shoes, swallow socks for daytime adventures and the rocking horses for slobbing around the house and possibly some other things once I can think of them. Haha!
And finally I would just like to say thank you all so so so much for reading and following my blog this year. I've only been blogging since August this year and I am truly humbled by all of you reading and commenting and pushing the buttons below. I hope to continue and improve the blog in 2011 and I hope you all continue to read and enjoy my experiences and opinions.

If I had a little money, money, money, in a rich man's world.

My new Cath Kidston purse;

Now, this purse is truly magical. I got it for Christmas from my Nana and Grandad and it's one of the best purses I've ever used. But to be fair I've used 3 purses and 1 of them was from Clarie's Accsesorise. It's got loads of little slots for cards and tons of space for loose change. I always carry a Palmistry chart reading I got on holiday in Dorset earlier this year in one of the card pockets just in case it comes true at any point, but, I doubt it will.
I went to see the local panto last night and it was really awesome! Apart from one thing, Shane from boyzone is in ours and lets just say he shouldn't take up a career in acting... and to be quite frank his singing wasn't all that special either, so who knows how he makes a living. Everything else was all singing, dancing and acting though. It was Sleeping Beauty so it was vamped out in bright pink and silver glitter. It was basically an explosion in a Barbie factory but a nice, controlled explosion with dancers.
And earlier on yesterday I went to town to hit the sales and unfortunately emerged bargain-less. For starters Topshop had been ram sacked for all it's worth and all that was left was jumpers with tinsel woven into them, I didn't even brave New Look because I feared I wouldn't be able to breath if I entered and Accsesorize had a few nice bits but not enough to make me want to buy them. Anyway, I braved it in my woolly reindeer scarf and matching hat and velvet cardigan from Primark.

You scumbag, you maggot, You cheap lousy faggot.

Back on the day I said I would be.
I don't really know how to explain this post, it's got so much to say that I'm kind of lost for words in a non-emotional way.
Well, let's start with major stuff. I got a DSLR for Christmas! It's a Nikon 3100, 14mp and it's their newest model, it really is an incredible camera and i'm sure you'll see it in around 99% of future posts! I've decided to call the actually camera Nick, so whenever you hear me referring to 'Nick' it's the camera.

Here's a preview of things coming up in future posts...

Now, I haven't quite mastered the art of auto timings and so on on the camera yet so the quality of these pictures are pretty poor at the moment, but, I will eventually work it out. I haven't got a tripod yet but I think I'm going to ask for one for my birthday which is in a couple of months in February, then will have some amazing outfit posts like LLYMLRS here.
Anyway, this is my new Topshop sleeveless shirt, I got it from my Mum and Dad for Christmas and I don't know how much it is, after all, it is a present, and I don't really want to know, haha. Also seen is my American Apparel skirt from ebay which was £6, a good bargain.

 I hope you had a lovely Christmas and soon I shall be putting a video up of my Christmas for all to see, but here's truly 'teeny weeny' taster of what happened over my Christmas/Boxing Day;
 ^^that's a twiglet by the way.

P.S I've re-adjusted my blog width so that all pictures can be bigger with less white space from now on.

Merry Christmas! and I'm sad to say that I am going on yet another break over this Yuletide time and I will return around the 27th I guess? Yeah, 27th. But to stop your Emily cravings I've compiled an outfit post for you before I go.
